1. Who we are

LogicVanta is operated by Summit Commerce Group, LLC ("we", "us"), trading as LogicVanta. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. Questions about privacy: summitcommercebiz@gmail.com.

2. Personal data we collect

Account data — name, email address, login credentials, billing email.
Profile and brand data — brand or company name and default tone settings.
Content you create — proposal inputs, generated proposal text, client names and client email addresses you enter, and acceptance records (signer name, email, timestamp).
Support messages — anything you send us by email.
Technical data — IP address, device and browser identifiers, and usage/telemetry such as pages visited and errors encountered.

3. Why we use it and our legal basis

Create and operate your account — performance of our contract with you.
Generate, store, share, and export proposals — performance of our contract.
Send transactional notifications (e.g. a client accepted your proposal) — performance of our contract.
Security, abuse and fraud prevention — legitimate interests in keeping the service safe.
Product improvement and diagnostics — legitimate interests in a reliable product.
Customer support — performance of our contract and legitimate interests.
Marketing email, where offered — your consent, withdrawable at any time.
Legal, tax and accounting records — compliance with legal obligations.

Proposal text is generated using a third-party AI model provider. We do not use your proposal content to train third-party models.

4. Who we share data with

Service providers / subprocessors — hosting, database and authentication, email delivery, AI model inference, and error monitoring, all acting on our instructions.
Merchant of Record — Paddle.com, which handles the sale of subscriptions, payments, subscription management, invoicing, refunds, and sales-tax compliance.
Professional advisers — legal and accounting, where needed.
Authorities — where required by law or to protect legal rights.

We do not sell personal data.

5. Retention

We keep account and proposal data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete or anonymise your account and proposal data within 90 days, except records we must retain for legal, tax, or dispute purposes. Diagnostic logs are retained for a shorter period, typically up to 12 months.

6. International transfers

We are based in the United States and our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where data is transferred from the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an applicable adequacy decision.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to withdraw consent. UK/EEA users may also complain to their supervisory authority. Email summitcommercebiz@gmail.com and we will respond within one month.

8. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, encryption at rest for stored data, row-level access controls scoped to your account, and least-privilege access for administrators. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and to notify you of incidents where legally required.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to keep the app working. We use limited analytics and error-diagnostic storage to understand reliability and usage. We do not use advertising or cross-site marketing cookies. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, but essential cookies are required to sign in.

10. Children

LogicVanta is not intended for anyone under 18.

11. Changes

We will update this notice when our practices change and will revise the date above. Material changes will be communicated by email or in the app.
